What We Offer
Here at Your Breathing Space we offer a varied array of classes and sessions to meet your individual needs. It maybe that you only have time for a 30 minute breathing/meditation class, or you may want to indulge in our 3 hour Monthly Urban Rest Restorative session, or a one hour relaxation massage, the choice is yours. Whatever you are looking for, we can support you.
This involves resting in poses, supported by props, including bolsters, weighted blankets, cushions and eye pillows while bringing awareness to your breath. By using these props, there is no strain on your body, allowing you to hold the pose from 2mins to 20mins, giving the body and mind time to soften and deeply relax.
The great thing about Restorative Yoga is that it doesn't matter whether you have never experienced yoga, or you've been practicing for 30years, it available to everyone. Ideal for men and women alike, to help balance your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing; a great tool for today's fast paced life.
Yoga for body alignment
The YogAlign Method is a combination of unique breath work, that tones the core and aligns the posture, with a practice done in optimal alignment and neuromuscular re-patterning long held poor posture habits. The YogAlign Method is an incredibly simple yet powerful technique that will show you immediately where you’re wasting energy and where your body is storing tension. And how you can release that tension instantly.
At Your Breathing Space we offer various different forms of meditation, including walking meditation, for those who find it difficult to sit still. We also offer Yoga Nidra, known as a yogic sleep, and a simple guided meditation where you can sit on the floor, in a chair, or lay on a mat.
We offer Zen Den sessions throughout the week (check the booking tab for details) All Yoga & Pilates sessions finish with meditation. Once a year we offer a 3 week beginners course on how to start a regular meditation practice. If you would like to learn more about meditation, we'd love to hem you.
If you are as looking for a relaxing therapeutic massage we offer Ayurvedic massages based on your Dosha type - Vata, Pita & Kapha. This type of massage works with certain points on the body to help release any tension or stagnate energy.
We also offer Remedial massages for those needing something extra. Or simply a relaxation massage.

Bowen therapy is a system of gentle but powerful soft tissue mobilizations using the thumbs and fingers over muscles, tendons, nerves, and fascia to restore the self-healing mechanism of the body. This technique has been used for conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, including back, neck, hip, and shoulder pain.

Qi Gong Beginners workshop
At Your Breathing Space we offer 3 week training courses on the practice of Shibashi Qi Gong. The course is generally delivered in Spring with continued classes each Saturday morning after that. Classes cease during the winter months as the session is conducted outdoors.
This is a Chinese system of breathing exercises, body postures and movements, and mental concentration, intended to maintain good health and control the flow of vital energy. Designed to benefit both physical and mental health.
